The teachers of Braj Gopika Vidhya Mandal in Nandgaon distributed more than 150 books of Bhagavad-Gita on Ekadashi day last 11th of May.
After the Gita recitation a week ago, the teachers were deeply inspired to share the timeless teachings of Bhagavad-Gita by distributing books in Nandgaon, Greenfield Public School in Kose and other nearby villages and schools. Headed by the Nandgaon Gurukula principal, Mrs.Kalavati Sakhi matajee, they walked around with full enthusiasm from village to village to propagate the message of Sri Krishna. The students, teachers and villagers were very delighted receiving Bhagavad Gita as gifts.
Mr. Anil Lohkana prabhuji who is teaching Mathematics in Nandgon Gurukula who participated in book distribution shared his experience, “It was really a blissful and ecstatic activity. It’s our first time to distribute the books of Srila Prabhupada and we are so happy and excited. It’s a very empowering and spiritually uplifting service.”
