Director's Message

director Dear Well wishers

Hare Krishna

According to Capital IBM research, the worldwide city population over took the village population for the first time in 2007. It is predicted that city population worldwide will become 70% of the total population by 2050. From a holistic point of view, such a scenario is catastrophic as the synergy among all types of inhabitants that includes plant, aquatics, forest, rivers, hills, animals and human being will be almost lost. As a result, a great danger is certainly awaiting the present model civilization. The Project Krishorganization has been setup to develop the model villages such that the youth will be provided a life of dignity, purpose and happiness within the village paradigm.

The foundation of such a village will consist of woman education, vocational training, organic farming, community goshala, vocational education imparting institutions, a cultural centre and development of natural resources i.e. water, forest and energy.

PROJECT Krish has taken a step to adapt couple of villages where the villagers have agreed the principles of such a foundational village. The majority of villages have agreed to lead a life where meat eating, gambling, intoxication and illicit sex are prohibited.

The animal and plant kingdom need to be preserved and expanded so also water resources such as rivers, lakes and ponds. Instead of pushing everybody to urban-centric life, villages have to be protected through sustainable cow protection, organic farming, natural water harvesting, and energy management. Knowledge generation is a key component to achieve these objectives. We need your blessings to achieve this target under the banner of PROJECT Krish. Please pray for our success in establishing a self-sustained society.
